Ms. Mary Bordelon

I’m proud to serve as the Assistant Principal at SRE, where I have the privilege of supporting our PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade students, teachers, and families. I earned my Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of New Orleans and am honored to be a National Board Certified Teacher.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to serve in several instructional leadership roles, including PreK–1st TAP Mentor Teacher, K–5 Literacy Coach, K–3 Reading Interventionist, and Early Childhood Instructional Coach. These experiences have strengthened my passion for helping young learners thrive and supporting teachers in creating meaningful learning experiences.

I’m excited to be part of the Dragon family and look forward to building strong relationships, working together, and celebrating a year filled with learning, growth, and success!
